Kidz Zone
Little Lambs- Ages 6 weeks to Pre-K ( 4yrs.)
Sunday School 5 years- 5th grade
The mission of New Hope’s Little Lambs & KidsZone ministries is to provide our children with the tools they need to learn, believe, and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We want them to be obedient to God and to have the desire to share the Gospel Message to the world.
To accomplish our mission, we strive to meet our children at their level of development and understanding to teach them the love of Christ and the joy of His forgiveness and salvation. During Little Lambs & KidzService on Sunday mornings and our KidsZone class on Wednesday evenings, we help them to learn the truth of God’s Word and encourage them to grow in their Spiritual walk with God to be able to share the love of Christ with others.
Youth Ministry
Ages 6th grade to 12th grade
Thank you for taking a moment to see what's going on with the youth at New Hope Baptist Church. New Hope is blessed with a dedicated and outgoing group of young people. We meet together each Sunday morning at 10 am, and each Wednesday night at 6:30 pm. Our time together is dedicated to the study and learning of God's word with an emphasis on life application.
We challenge our youth to not only spend time together at church but to work together, to support, to encourage, and to hold each other accountable each day. We plan and organize monthly activities for our youth to develop friendships and closeness. Just a sample of these events includes trips to Six Flags, snow skiing, The Factory, skating, and bowling.
Anyone in grades 6-12 is invited to come be a part of the group.
Senior Brown Bag Ministry
Once a month, our Senior Brown Bag Ministry team delivers food bags to the eldery/shut-ins of our surrounding communities. These bags contain nutritious, shelf stable foods that are able to be used for multiple meals. Please contact the church office for more information.
Women’s Ministry
Each month, the Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) works on projects that work to spread the Gospel and better our community. Some of these projects include: Hygiene Bags for the homeless; filled backpacks for local students at the beginning of the school year; diaper and baby supply collections for Toccoa Life, a local family resource center; and Christmas packages for needy children in the Appalachian Mountains. Please contact the church office for more information.
Our Women’s Enrichment Ministry meets as scheduled to promote fellowship and friendship amongst the women in our church. With fun activities, trips, and projects planned throughout the year, this ministry serves as a tool to equip and encourage any lady who wishes to attend. You can contact the church office for more information.
Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery is for anyone who is dealing with a hurt, habit, or hang-up! These meetings use a structured approach of lessons, testimonies, and small group share times to help equip people to step out of denial, and into the life that God has planned for them! Our meeting time is Thursday nights at 6:30 PM.
